Marshall D. Parker - President and CEO contact via e-mail  Mr. Parker joined Kansas Venture Capital, Inc. in October 1990. Mr. Parker has counseled and financed emerging businesses for more than 30 years.

After graduating from Kansas State University (1978) with an accounting degree, he joined Wichita-based Allen, Gibbs and Houlik where he was responsible for marketing and servicing the firm’s consulting practice and data center. In 1983, he joined the Management Services Department of Ernst & Young in Kansas City where he was selected to assist in creating the Entrepreneurial Services Department.

Mr. Parker joined the investment banking division of Blunt Ellis & Loewi (now Wells Fargo Advisors) in 1987, where his responsibilities included business development, financial analysis and due diligence for public offerings, fairness opinions and merger/acquisition projects. He co-founded Snelgrove Parker & Company, an Overland Park based investment firm, in 1989.

Mr. Parker is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. He recently completed one of sereral terms on the Board of Governors of the Small Business Investors Alliance (formerly the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies). Mr. Parker has and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of several privately-held businesses and is vice-chairman of his church. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
